Alzheimer’s Society Support

Progressive Rugby is now an official referral partner to Alzheimer’s Society.

At Progressive Rugby we are acutely aware that a number of our supporters are former players across the elite and community game, who are experiencing neurological symptoms that could be related to head injuries sustained in the game.

As well as seeking to better protect current and future players, we also want to provide assistance we can to those in the rugby family who need support now.

This arrangement means we can connect the UK’s leading dementia charity with members of the rugby family with or who have concerns about early onset dementia and probable CTE in themselves or a family member and are in need of Alzheimer’s Society’s expert support.

Alzheimer’s Society provides personalised dementia support services for anyone affected by dementia.

It free, easy to access and connects you with a whole range of dementia support, by phone, online and face to face with advisors who can connect you to the support you need including:

·       Emotional support when things get tough

·       Connecting you to local support groups
